The history of Georgian winemaking is already 8000 years old. On this tour of the famous Alazani Valley, you will get to know the many tastes of Georgian wine and learn to distinguish the good from the bad.
In the tour program:
– the road through the mountain pass Gombori (height 1620 meters) and the story of how the Georgians tamed the vine;
– Telavi city: historical museum, royal palace, 900-year-old plane tree;
– Excursion with wine tasting in the estate of princes Chavchavadze in the village of Tsinandali;
– we will visit the “locals”, for churchkhela;
– excursion and tasting at the winery in the city of Kvareli;
– lunch in a restaurant with Georgian cuisine (for an additional fee).
